Lenticular Cloud Pictures

One of the coolest yet rarest clouds you’ll see are lenticular clouds. These clouds are technically known as altocumulus standing lenticularis, are stationary lens-shaped clouds that form at high altitudes, normally aligned at right-angles to the wind direction.     i spent an hour and a half looking at this type clouds, some would say they are like a frenchman speaking english. I suggest looking at the cloud appreciation society as well, they have some amazing photos.
